REUTERS: Amazon.com Inc stated it modified into striking off particular photos after messages utilizing extraordinarily solid racist abuse looked on some listings on its UK internet location when users hunted for Apple’s AirPods and other similar products.

The message sparked outrage on Twitter, with the self-discipline “AirPods” trending within the UK.

“We’re striking off the photos in inquire and dangle taken motion on the spoiled actor,” an Amazon spokeswoman told Reuters on Sunday. She didn’t account for more on the “spoiled actor”.

Screenshots and video grabs of the messages were trending on Twitter, with users sharing the photos.

The listings with the abusive messages were no longer visible on the Amazon UK internet location and it modified into no longer sure how long they were there for.

In April, several of Amazon’s foreign internet sites, at the side of the UK domain, were added to the U.S. alternate regulator’s “infamous markets” document on marketplaces known for counterfeiting and piracy concerns.

Amazon strongly disagreed with the document for the time being, describing it as a “purely political act.”
