Serie A on Friday confirmed that top-flight football will return to Italy after a 3-month coronavirus-enforced absence on the weekend of June 20-21.
Sports actions Minister Vincenzo Spadafora on Thursday gave the authorities’s acclaim for a restart on June 20, in a championship which has been suspended since March 9.
“The golf equipment welcomed the inexperienced light given the day gone by by Minister Spadafora for the resumption of Serie A and voted unanimously to play the four postponed suits on the weekend of June 20-21,” Serie A stated in an announcement.
The four suits in question are Atalanta v Sassuolo, Hellas Verona v Cagliari, Inter Milan v Sampdoria and Torino v Parma. The league added that the 27th spherical of suits would be organised from the week of June 22.
“Dates and instances of the suits will in all probability be launched within the impending days,” it added.
As Spadafora had requested, Italian Cup suits will occur the old week with the last of that event on June 17. No dates had been given but for the return legs of the semi-finals, with Napoli living to host Inter Milan and Juventus at dwelling towards AC Milan, but they are going to almost certainly be performed on the weekend of June 13 and 14.
