The management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has shut down the commission’s corporate headquarters following COVID-19 dismay.
The coronavirus dismay, it became as soon as gathered, became as soon as precipitated by the loss of life of a member of the Intervening time Administration Committee (IMC) of NDDC, Mr. Ibanga Etang.
Etang, who till his loss of life, became as soon as the Acting Executive Director of Finance and Administration reportedly died at about 2am on Thursday on the Rivers Explain University Teaching Clinic (RSUTH), Port Harcourt after a temporary illness.

An internal memo signed for the management by Silas Anyanwu directed informed all staff that the headquarters of the commission would be shut down for 2 weeks with instant set.
“In consequence, all actions of the commission at the side of ongoing matters are hereby shut down”, the memo said.
